In 2025, we bred a Katahdin ram lamb with 5 ewe lambs, all came from The Baalands, but from different parents.
Ram – Raymond Rammington was our first sire. A ram lamb out of an NC State ram named Thunder, he is well-tempered and successfully bred all 5 ewes in his first season.
Ewes –
D.G. – D.G. is the smallest ewe with the biggest personality. She is the only one that is not half-sisters with the rest. Her sire was a ram named Falkirk.
Jazzy – A bottle baby, Jazzy has a calm demeanor that says she’s seen it all.

Don’t forget Steve! Steve is our wether (a neutered male sheep) who acts as a friend to our ram when he’s separated from the ewes. Sheep are very social and need their friend. Steve loves to hop around whenever he gets put in a new paddock. He also likes playing King of the Mountain, standing over all the other sheep.
